Service log & PDF export
Every service ever performed on a vehicle, viewable and exportable.
The service log
On the vehicle detail page, the Service history section lists every service order ever opened for this car — newest first. Each row shows:
- Service date
- Status (coloured badge)
- Odometer at time of service
- Short description
- Inspection-item count
- Invoice total (if invoiced)
Expanding a service
Click the chevron to preview inspection items and photos without navigating away. Click the row to open the full service page.
Exporting as PDF
- Tick the checkbox next to each service you want to include (or Select all).
- Click Print selected in the toolbar that appears.
- Preview the combined PDF in a new tab.
- Save or print.
The PDF includes, for each selected service:
- Service date, status, description, odometer
- Full inspection-item list, grouped by category
- A thumbnail grid of attached photos
- The invoice total if one was issued
At the top, the PDF has the vehicle’s full identification block (make, model, year, VIN, plate) and your workshop header.
Print the full service log when a vehicle is sold to a new owner — it’s a complete, dated record that adds resale value and demonstrates care.
Performance
The PDF is generated server-side and streamed to your browser. For cars with 50+ services, expect a 5–15 second wait.
