Subscription status
Your account is always in one of four states. This is what each means.
The four states
| Status | Meaning | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Trial active | You’re in your free 7-day window. | Everything. All features unlocked. |
| Subscription active | A paid subscription is running. | Everything. All features unlocked. |
| Trial ending soon | 2 days or less left in trial. | Everything — plus a banner reminds you to pick a plan. |
| Payment required | Trial or subscription expired. | Sign in and view existing data. Cannot create or edit records until you subscribe. |
Refreshing the status
If you’ve just paid but still see Payment required, the Stripe webhook may be a few seconds behind. Click the Refresh button next to the status on Settings → Billing to force a re-sync.
What “payment required” locks
- Creating or editing clients, vehicles, services, inspection items, employees, invoices.
- Creating or completing service orders.
- Uploading photos.
- Publishing changes to your public listing.
What still works
- Signing in and signing out.
- Viewing all existing records.
- Downloading past invoices as PDF.
- Access to Settings → Billing so you can subscribe again.
