Inspection items
The granular checklist that makes up the work on a service order. Each item represents a single thing you inspected or replaced.
How items are organized
Items are grouped by category. Default categories include:
- Brakes
- Engine
- Transmission
- Suspension
- Electrical
- Body & Interior
- Tyres & Wheels
- Other
You can add custom categories from the Manage catalog dialog.
Add an individual item
- On the service page, click + Add item in the Inspection items section.
- Pick a category.
- Search the catalog (
brake pad,oil filter, etc.) or click Custom item. - Give the item a short description and save.
Custom items
Any custom item you create is saved under the chosen category for future reuse. Rename or delete custom items from Manage catalog. Deletion is blocked if the item is used in other services — the dialog tells you which ones.
Editing each item on a service
For every item on the service, you can set:
- Condition / status — e.g. OK, Advisory, Replaced, Urgent.
- Notes — free text observations.
Changes save automatically — no explicit save button.
Adding items in bulk
Use pre-made service templates to add a whole checklist at once (e.g. a standard 10,000 km service with 30 items).
Start every service by applying a pre-made template, then add one-off items as you find them. Your final checklist is tailored but you didn’t have to click through thirty items individually.
