Assigned vehicles
Point cars at the technician responsible for them. Each mechanic sees a personal work queue instead of the whole shop’s.
Viewing assignments
Open any employee’s detail page. The Assigned vehicles section lists every car currently routed to them, with license plate, make/model, engine type, and odometer.
Assigning a vehicle
- Open the employee’s page.
- Click + Assign vehicle.
- Search the picker by plate, VIN, or make/model.
- Select one or more vehicles.
- Confirm.
Unassigning
Click the X next to any assigned vehicle. A confirmation prompt protects against accidents. Unassigning doesn’t affect the vehicle’s record, its service history, or its owners — only the routing link.
Multiple assignees
A vehicle can be assigned to several employees at once (e.g. a specialist helping a junior). On the vehicle’s detail page, you’ll see all assignees in the Work assignments area.
When an employee logs in, their dashboard filters the Service pipeline and Activity feed to their assigned vehicles by default. This keeps everyone focused.
