Vehicle photos
Document condition, damage, and notable details against each vehicle record.
Where the gallery lives
Every vehicle detail page has a Photos section. Photos attached to the vehicle are different from photos attached to a service — vehicle photos persist across all services, while service photos belong to one specific job.
Adding photos
- Open the vehicle’s detail page.
- Scroll to Photos.
- Click + Add photos.
- Choose one of:
- Take a photo (mobile) — opens the camera.
- Choose from library (mobile) — pick from your gallery.
- Upload from computer (web, desktop) — drag & drop or select files.
- Photos upload one at a time with a progress indicator.
Limits
- Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, HEIC (auto-converted to JPEG on upload).
- Maximum file size: 10 MB per photo.
- No hard limit on number of photos per vehicle, but try to keep it under 50 per car for performance.
Viewing and deleting
Click any thumbnail to open the full-size viewer. From there you can swipe (mobile) or use arrow keys (web) to cycle through all photos for this vehicle. The trash icon deletes the current photo after a confirmation.
Deleted photos are removed from storage within 24 hours. There is no undo. If you need to keep a record, download the photo first.
Who sees them
Every user in your workshop can see vehicle photos (subject to the vehicle’s visibility toggle). Photos are not sent to the customer app.
